Finally, you can use RMPro from your mobile device! The most common point-of-sale functions are available to use from any iPhone, iPad, or Android phone or tablet, enabling you to produce invoices from your sales floor or right at your customer’s location.
Taking your RMPro
mobile: in-store & on the road
The power of RMPro on a mobile device, both iOS and Android
No, the mobile app is targeted to provide you the basic Point-of-Sale functions which make sense to perform from outside of your store. Future versions of the app may support further features, such as physical inventory or general inventory management.
Currently, the mobile app supports creating Sale, Approval, Consigned, and Service invoices. Services allow you to enter details of a customer’s item including up to 5 pictures for each item. The next version of the mobile app will also support back orders.
Much easier than the legacy point-of-sale! The mobile app does not restrict you to the same step-by-step workflow of the standard POS – instead, you can start adding items to the cart before you even enter the customer information.
Yes it does! Everything you do in the mobile app is done instantly in your live RMPro system. When putting together an invoice, this is in the form of a “cart” which remains on your mobile device until you’re ready to complete the invoice, at which point the invoice is sent to your RMPro system on the spot.
Yes you can! You can perform a combination of a free-text search and a more advanced filter to narrow down your search and find exactly what you’re looking for – whether by size, color, and other properties, or by simply typing in an item number. You can view detailed information about each item, including all the images with zoom ability.
Yes you can! You can either search for existing customers, or choose to create a new customer. The app will also attempt to match up a new customer with an existing account, just in case you’re trying to create a duplicate customer account.
Yes it does! For example, the app will respect your settings for whether to require media type, email, or phone, as well as numerous user privileges and system settings which already control your standard software.
Not yet, but that will be coming soon in the next version. That would allow you to make use of the new service features in RMPro to pick specific operations and automatically calculate the total price of services based on the setup.
It sure does! If your RMPro is configured to process credit cards, then the mobile app will automatically work as well. The features are more or less the same, allowing you to enter an “Approval Code” to override it to not process – just like the desktop Point-of-Sale.
Yes you can! When you open a customer account, you have access to that customer’s history, similar to how you can view transaction history from within RMPro. You can even open PDF copies of prior invoices if you need to visually see or even send to the customer.
Yes you can! After creating an invoice, you have an option to “Download PDF”, and from there you can choose to email the invoice using whatever email app is installed on your mobile device.
Yes it can! From the customer screen, there’s a GPS button next to their mailing and shipping address areas so that you can open the directions from whatever GPS app is installed on your mobile device.
Yes you can! From the customer screen, there’s a button next to each phone number or email field which is populated, making it quick and easy to either call that customer or email them using whatever app is installed on your mobile device.
Yes there is! By default, when you first install the app, you immediately have the ability to login to a “Demo” environment, allowing you to fiddle around with the app and do whatever you wish. During this time, a red frame will be visible around the border of the app, reminding you that you’re in the Demo system.
At this time, you will need to at minimum have a WiFi network available to connect to which also allows access to your RMPro server. Please [contact RMPro support] for assistance.
Yes you can! This will require some network configuration which is not easily done by an average user, so please [contact RMPro support] for assistance.
Yes it can! We understand that some users work for more than one company which uses RMPro, so we’ve provided a switch to toggle between different RMPro systems as needed.
